Precautions
If the buoyancy is affected by the rise of water level, causing the pipe to float up, anchoring facilities should be taken to prevent the pipe from floating up during backfilling.
If the construction environment corrodes the steel corrugated pipe culvert, measures such as increasing the thickness of the pipe wall or applying protective film should be taken.
For steel corrugated pipes with a diameter greater than 3 meters, if the openings at both ends of the pipe are in the form of a straight wall, the openings should be reinforced with reinforced concrete.
If the longitudinal slope of the bottom of the corrugated pipe culvert is greater than 5%, necessary anti slip measures should be taken.
When the foundation is soft, special treatment must be carried out to set a relatively large pre camber as much as possible.
In areas with abundant rainfall, the backfill material for culvert pipes must use graded sand and gravel or graded crushed stone with good permeability.
