More than 15 meters
The height of a factory chimney varies depending on the industry and emission standards, but the minimum requirement for most industries is 15 meters, and may be higher depending on the specific situation. The following are the main standards for chimney heights in various industries:

Industrial furnaces
The minimum allowable chimney height is 15 meters. If there are buildings within 200 meters, the chimney height must exceed the highest building by more than 3 meters; if it does not meet the standard, the emission concentration must be strictly enforced at 50%.

‌Electroplating industry‌
The height of the exhaust chimney shall not be less than 15 meters, and the height of the exhaust chimney that emits hydrogen cyanide gas shall not be less than 25 meters, and it must be more than 5 meters higher than the buildings within 200 meters.

‌Synthetic leather and artificial leather industry‌
The height of the exhaust chimney should not be less than 15 meters, and it must be more than 3 meters higher than the buildings within 200 meters.

‌Coal industry‌
The height of the exhaust chimney of dust removal equipment should not be less than 15 meters.

‌Hazardous waste incineration‌
The height of the exhaust chimney is determined according to the incineration volume and waste type, with a minimum of 20 meters and a height of more than 5 meters above the highest building within a 200-meter radius.

‌Household waste incineration‌
When the incineration capacity is less than 300 tons/day, the minimum chimney height is 45 meters; when the capacity is ≥300 tons/day, the minimum height is 60 meters and a height of more than 3 meters above the highest building within a 200-meter radius.

‌Odor pollutant emission‌
The minimum height of the exhaust chimney shall not be less than 15 meters.
