A smart light pole is not just a lamp post with a camera added on the side. It is a small outdoor system with power supply, wiring space, control box, grounding, device brackets, and service access. If these parts are not planned before production, the final street may have too many exposed wires and separate boxes. The pole may still stand, but later repair becomes slower and less tidy.
A better way is to confirm the module list first. Some roads only need lighting and cameras. Industrial parks may add gas detection, warning lights, speakers, or edge computing boxes. Public squares may need screens and broadcast units. Once these functions are fixed, the pole height, door position, internal cable path, and foundation can be designed together. This keeps the outside cleaner and makes later maintenance easier for the site team. It also helps the buyer compare different plans by function, not only by pole height.
