Parameters of light poles involve many aspects, including size, material, surface treatment, installation method, etc. The following are the main parameters of light poles and their meanings:

1. ‌Dimensional parameters‌
‌Height‌: The height of the light pole is usually determined according to the usage scenario, such as 6 meters, 12 meters, 25 meters, etc.
‌Diameter‌: The diameter of the light pole affects its load-bearing capacity and stability, usually in millimeters.
‌Wall thickness‌: The wall thickness determines the strength and weight of the light pole, usually ranging from 2.75mm to 8mm.
‌Taper ratio‌: The taper ratio of the conical light pole affects its appearance and stability, and is commonly 11‰.
2. ‌Material‌
‌Steel‌: Commonly used high-quality low-silicon carbon steel Q235A, yield strength>245Mpa.
‌Other materials‌: Such as aluminum alloy, fiberglass, cement, etc., suitable for different scenarios.
3. Surface treatment
Hot-dip galvanizing: used for anti-corrosion treatment, thickness ≥75um, in line with GB/T13912-92 standard, design life not less than 30 years.
Plastic spraying: outdoor pure polyester plastic powder, thickness ≥80um, strong adhesion, UV resistance, design life not less than 30 years.
4. Installation method
Buried type: bury the lamp pole underground and fix it, suitable for conventional street lamps.
Bolt fixing type: fixed by flange and bolts, suitable for high pole lamps.
5. Other parameters
Wind load: the maximum wind speed that the lamp pole can withstand, affecting its stability and safety.
Protection level: such as IP65, IP66, etc., indicating the protection ability of the lamp pole against water and dust.
Welding process: no cracking, leakage, pores and other defects are required, and the weld is smooth and flat.
6. Design Standards
Wind resistance level: It must meet the wind speed requirements of the specific area.
Verticality: After the light pole is erected, the verticality should be less than or equal to 0.2%.
Service life: The design service life is usually not less than 20 or 30 years.
