Industrial Chimney

The industrial chimney is a vertical exhaust structure that guides smoke, heat, and process gas from boilers, furnaces, dryers, and production equipment to a safe discharge height. It is commonly used in power plants, chemical plants, steel plants, cement plants, refineries, and paper mills. The chimney design should match gas volume, temperature, corrosion level, wind load, foundation condition, and maintenance access. A suitable structure keeps the outlet stable, reduces backflow risk, and gives workers a clear route for inspection points such as flanges, drainage ports, ladders, and platforms.

1. For an industrial chimney project, the stack height is checked with the discharge requirement, nearby building height, dominant wind direction, and outlet diffusion demand.

2. When the flue gas is wet, we confirm drainage slope, condensate outlet, inner lining, and anti-corrosion material before fabrication.

3. If the industrial chimney is close to production equipment, flange position, manhole direction, ladder route, and platform height are checked against the site access route.

1. Before delivery, we measure steel plate thickness, cylinder roundness, weld appearance, flange flatness, and anchor bolt hole position against the approved drawing.

2. Paint thickness or lining condition is recorded in the inspection sheet, because these parts affect later anti-corrosion service.

3. Section marks and packing labels are checked before loading, so the industrial chimney can be lifted and assembled in the correct order on site.
